✔ Strong Recall

Lil’ Yellow is a beautiful sable German Shepherd with a black saddle and a gentle, friendly personality. She is athletic, affectionate, and incredibly playful. Although she can be fairly relaxed around the house, she has plenty of working-dog energy and needs regular activity, engagement, and something productive to do.

Yellow loves children, enjoys other dogs, and is comfortable with visitors. She may greet a stranger and then happily wander away. She generally pays little attention to cats and small animals, although she may stare at them, so supervised introductions are recommended.

Yellow has good recall and responds to “sit,” “down,” “come,” “hug,” “crate,” “outside,” and “go potty.” She also responds to a whistle and window taps when called inside. However, all bets may be temporarily off when water is involved. She is not yet leash trained and will need continued practice.

A safely managed fountain or pool would earn her immediate approval.

Why We Love Yellow

We love Yellow because she is beautiful, enthusiastic, affectionate, and full of life. Watching her excitement as she catches bubbles and falling water never gets old. She brings joyful energy wherever she goes and still makes plenty of time for hugs and snuggles.
