Black is an all-black German Shepherd with wonderfully soft, fluffy fur and a patient, affectionate personality. She loves toys, cuddling, and staying close to her family. Although Mom is her favorite person and she often rests at her feet, Black regularly checks on everyone in the household.

Black tends to match the energy in the room rather than creating the excitement herself. She enjoys playing and doing zoomies but often chooses toys instead. She is friendly with visitors and strangers, although she may bark if the initial introduction isn't managed calmly. She is not yet leash trained and will need continued practice.

Black does well with children of all ages, other dogs, puppies, and the family cat. She may closely watch or “point” at the cat, but she lives with her safely. Black sometimes forgets that she is a 67-pound German Shepherd and thinks she is a much smaller dog, so normal supervision around babies and toddlers is recommended.
